The Home of Earth Art Therapy

Hearth provides a homely centre space that works alongside Children, Youth, Families, and Communities. Bringing people together to connect with nature, create art in all forms, and strengthen relationships in supportive 1.1, and focused-group environments.

We are an alternative & holistic health service designed to support the quality of life for Indigenous Peoples living in town based, and remote communities in the NT, and non-Indigenous Peoples in Mparntwe - Alice Springs.

  • CREATIVITY – Nurturing imagination and self-expression through art, empowering both individuals and communities.

COUNTRY – Recognising the land as a teacher, fostering belonging and responsibility to care for it.

COMMUNITY – Valuing relationships as a foundation for shared growth and connection.

CONNECTION – Embracing connection to self, creativity, country, and community.

DIVERSITY – Honouring differences and lived experiences as essential to deeper understanding.

JOY – Sharing joy builds connection, reduces division, and strengthens community resistance.

Our approach

Hearth is guided by Art & Eco Therapy principles. This complementary approach combines diverse art-making processes, assisted reflection, Earth Art practices, and experiences in nature to connect, share story, create, commemorate, and give life or closure to memorable moments.

This integrative process encourages personal, collective, and environmental growth. By promoting creative, reflective, and nature-based well-being opportunities that are invested in holistic resilience, community development, environmental justice, and creative change.
